SBI small-cap fund was launched on 9th September 2009. The Asset Under Management stands at Rs. 1,141 crores. This scheme was previously known as SBI small & mid-cap fund which was renamed as SBI small-cap funds w.e.f. 16th May 2018.

Redemption
From the date the request of redemption is received, the process takes 10 business days to be carried out.
Exit Load
Talking of redemption, there is an exit load of 1% if the fund is redeemed within a year. And if it is redeemed after a year, then there is no exit load applicable.

This fund is managed by Mr. R. Srinivisan who has been managing this scheme since November 2013. He is now the head of the equity (SBI Fund management). And has an experience of more than 25 years in equities having worked with various brokerage houses.
