Objectives

The objective of introducing this scheme by the Invesco AMC was to serve the investment needs of individuals, corporates, and institutions through mutual funds and sub-advised portfolios. The Fund seeks to invest in mid-cap companies with high potential. The significant part of the Corpus is invested in equity and equity-related instruments, of MidCap Companies.

Taxation of Invesco India Mid Cap Fund

If sold after 1 year of the purchase date, Long Term Capital Gain (LTCG) Tax will be applicable. If your total long term capital gain exceeds 1 lakh, in that case, you will be liable to pay the tax of 10% as per the current rate. No cess/surcharge is included. However, if you redeem or sell the units before 1 year from the investment date, Short Term Capital Gain Tax will be levied. The current tax rate is 15%. No cess/surcharge is included in the 15%.
